Three months into the Game Art and Animation course, after the 2D fundamentals, we delved into the 3D fundamentals with 3Ds Max and Adobe Substance Painter. For the modelling assignment it was mandatory to create an asset of your own, this was the outcome: a mid-poly lantern.

Throughout the 3D fundamentals module we learned everything about retopology, baking, modular assets, texturing and so forth.
